Our Retained Service is bespoke, designed to meet a clients particular needs in today's fiercely competitive hiring landscape. Typically a Retained Search is undertaken when discretion is required and for high priority positions. We believe that a successful Search is made by the quality of the research before a single candidate has been engaged. It is a comprehensive solution with clearly defined goals and strategic objectives.

During a Retained Search we initially partner with the client in defining the objectives of the search and the technical, cultural and behavioral skills required for a candidate (s) to be successfully hired.  The search is broken down into transparent steps which are discussed in the initial consultation. By providing intelligence on competitor organisational structures and detailed analysis of the potential candidate pool the client is able to make more informed decisions. As part of the services we advise on market entry points, brand awareness and positioning with the market. The client is also consulted on tailoring candidate approaches  based on candidate information gathering exercises to make the engagement process as effective as possible. 

GLOBAL REMIT

Sartre is a Search firm with a global focus. In 2017 roughly 60% of the mandates we executed were outside of the UK. Our network is particularly strong in North America, where we have a particular focus on clients in New York, San Francisco and Chicago. With the launch of Manhattan office in early 2018, our presence in this market will continue to grow.

Our retained solution is an interactive two-step solution that is underpinned by allowing our clients a real-time snapshot of the search progress.
