Head of People & Talent Acquisition
Jon joined Sartre at the beginning of 2015, starting his career in technology recruitment. He specialised in placing highly skilled Software Developers into hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, investment banks and consultancies. As Sartre moved out of its ‘start-up’ phase, and began to scale the company out, Jon became Head of Operations where he has worked with all areas of the business to implement clear processes for the back office infrastructure - across Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing and Operations.
Whilst continuing to have full operational oversight, he has additionally been at the forefront of Sartre’s internal recruitment drive (across both London and New York), transitioning to Head of People & Talent Acquisition in 2018.
He oversees all of Sartre’s recruiting activity, supporting our wider growth plans, and has been actively involved in redesigning our employee development programs and helping build internal career progression structures for all levels of seniority across the business. Most recently, Jon has been heavily involved in launching our Summer Training Academy for new employees, which will complement the existing development and learning offering, ensuring we give full 360 support to new and existing employees.
