Sartre is one of the few search firms that has a team wholly devoted to finding the best talent available in the Big Data, Data Science and Analytics market, as well as having a strong focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Although Sartre Group has a heavy focus on the financial markets this particular team is industry agnostic and also works with clients in media, technology, retail and the management consultancy world.
We take a global approach to our work although 90% of our requisites are either US or European based. There is nothing stopping you to facilitate business in other areas of the world. In fact it’s actively encouraged.
The team currently has 3 members who are all working to service existing accounts and to develop new client relationships.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for consultants who can challenge the status quo of recruitment – someone who knows how to attract candidates innovatively and think outside the box. We work to a hybrid search methodology with a heavy research element and look to impress our clients with our subject matter expertise not our pushiness or aggression. There is no “phone bashing” or “hot hours” here.
We don’t have KPI’s so consultants almost have a free reign and need to manage their own time. We hire people who will thrive in that type of environment.
Business development is very important to us. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable speaking to and influencing senior level decision makers to effectively sell Sartre’s services.
Everyone here considers themselves a specialist in the area they recruit. We want to meet consultants who are as passionate and interested about their sector as we are.
The big data, data science and analytics market is only going to get bigger. Out of all the practice groups at Sartre this team has the highest growth potential – simply because the professionals working in this space can essentially work in every sector imaginable and every company you can think of is trying to attract talent in these areas.
Although we have numerous existing relationships to tap into we really are only scratching the surface. There are so many opportunities to grow this team into new sectors, markets and geographies and all future hires will be actively involved in helping us do this.
The team is incredibly collaborative – we work as a close team, share candidates/clients and sometimes work on searches together. We are looking for people who will share that team mind-set.
